Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This policy covers “consumer health data” as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373) and supplements our Privacy policy. For Join Our Party, a service of HPH CONSULTING LLC (doing business as JOIN OUR PARTY), the only health data in the product is one field: the optional dietary needs and allergies note on an RSVP.

What we collect and why

• Category:dietary needs and allergy information about an attending child or adult (for example, “peanut allergy” or “gluten-free”), and any health information a parent chooses to include in the free-text RSVP notes.
• Source:entered directly and voluntarily by the attending child's own parent or guardian (or the attending adult themselves) in the RSVP form. The field is optional and labeled with a notice linking to this policy at the point of entry.
• Purpose: one thing only — showing the party host who is coming and what they can safely serve. We do not use this information for analytics, advertising, profiling, or any other purpose, and we exclude it from session replay and analytics collection.

Consent

We collect this information only when you choose to type it after seeing the notice at the field. Leaving the field blank never affects your RSVP. You may withdraw consent at any time by editing your RSVP to remove the note, or by emailing support@joinour.party.

Who can see it

• The party hostfor the party you RSVP'd to — that is the entire point of the field, and the sharing you consent to by filling it in.
• Our processors, only as needed to store and serve the data on our behalf: Convex (database) and Vercel (hosting). We configure our analytics and session replay (PostHog) to exclude this field from what they capture.

We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share it with anyone else. We do not use geofencing.

Your rights (RCW 19.373.040)

You (or the parent/guardian who entered a child's information) may: ask what consumer health data we hold about you or your child and who it was shared with; withdraw consent; and have it deleted. Email support@joinour.party with the email address your invitation was sent to. We respond within 45 days. Deletion removes the data from our live systems and propagates to our processors; backup copies are purged on the backup rotation schedule, within the timeframe the Act allows.

Appeals

If we decline a request, we will tell you why, and you may appeal by replying to our decision with “appeal” in the subject line. We answer appeals in writing within 45 days. If the appeal is denied, you may contact the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.

Changes and contact
