Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and HPH CONSULTING LLC, a Washington State limited liability company doing business as JOIN OUR PARTY(“Join Our Party”, “we”). They apply when you create a host account, and — in the few sections that address guests — when you open an invitation link or submit an RSVP.

1. What the service is

Join Our Party is software for planning a children's party: creating an event page, emailing invitations to the guest list you provide, and collecting RSVPs. We provide the software. The party itself — the venue, the food, supervision, and acting on any allergy or dietary information guests share — is entirely the host's and attending parents' responsibility, not ours.

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 18 and using the service as a parent, guardian, or other adult organizer. Children may not create accounts or use the service. Information about a child may only be provided by the child's own parent or guardian, or by a host inviting that child's family.

3. Accounts

Keep your account information accurate and your sign-in credentials to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Payments

Publishing a party and sending invitations costs $10 USD per party, plus applicable sales tax — a one-time charge, billed when you choose to pay and unlock the party, processed by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars. Delivery is immediate and digital: once payment succeeds, publishing and sending unlock. Promotional codes, when offered, apply at checkout under the terms stated with the promotion. Refunds are governed by our Refund & cancellation policy.

5. Your guest list — rules for hosts

You may only enter guest contact details you have a genuine personal connection to: families you actually know and are actually inviting to a real event. Specifically, you agree that:

• you have a personal relationship with each family on your list and a lawful basis to invite them;
• no purchased, scraped, or rented address lists — ever;
• invitations are personal and non-commercial: no advertising, solicitation, or promotion inside your party content;
• guest contact information and RSVP details (including any allergy notes) may be used only for your own event, not for marketing or anything else.

Every invitation email identifies you as the person inviting. Any recipient can stop all future emails from Join Our Party by writing to support@joinour.party; we honor those requests across all parties.

6. Your content

Party details, images, guest lists, and RSVP notes belong to whoever provided them. You give us the limited license we need to store, display, and transmit that content to operate the service — nothing more. Don't submit content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harassing; we may remove content or suspend accounts that do. To report content, email support@joinour.party.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy are part of these terms and explain how information is handled, including guests' and children's information.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that every email will be delivered (spam filters exist and are outside our control — the RSVP dashboard shows delivery problems so you can follow up directly). We make no warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for the events organized through the service, including food safety and allergy accommodation, which remain between the host and attending families.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or $100, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You will defend and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your guest list, your party content, your event, or your breach of these terms.

11. Disputes

These terms are governed by Washington State law. Before filing any claim, you agree to email support@joinour.partydescribing the problem and give us 30 days to resolve it — most things are a refund or a fix, and we'd rather just do that. Claims that can't be resolved informally belong in the state or federal courts located in Washington State.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced to hosts by email with the new effective date. Continued use after the effective date means the updated terms apply.
